If you are interested in a puppy from PriMar, please visit our contact page and fill out a submission. If we feel that you may be the right fit for one of our puppies & if we are the right fit for you, an application will be sent to you. In-person visits are always welcome and preferred, so that we can meet you and you can meet our dogs in person! Prior to my puppies leaving at the minimum age of 9-10 weeks, a pet contract will be signed ensuring our puppies will never be used for breeding and that they will never end up in a shelter. We breed very limitedly, but we accept all inquiries for current and/or future litters. I would also be very happy to refer you to a responsible breeder in your area for all coats!
What can you expect from a puppy from PriMar? Every litter is very well thought out here and with purpose. I strive for my puppies to have the very best health, temperament, and conformation possible. Each puppy of mine has a full health check up prior to leaving me. They also all will be microchipped already. They will be microchipped with the new owner’s information, as well as my information to ensure my puppies never end up in a shelter. My puppies are offered only on limited registration. Show puppies will only be available at the approval of my mentors and co-breeders involved. Each puppy goes home with a bag that will contain their health visit documentation, vaccine administration & health information, AKC puppy packet, and specific dachshund health & breed education. I make each puppy a personable blanket that matches their “color” they were given at birth to tell them apart. They also will be sent home with a toy that also has all of the familiar scents of me, their mama, and littermates. I find it is very important that the puppies be sent home with comfort items to ease the transition. On top of this, their take home back also comes with a full bag of recommended puppy food and treats. Of course there will be lots of other fun toys and items also! Each puppy owner should know I am ALWAYS available for any questions about your puppy throughout his/her entire lifetime. Each of my puppies has a file and will be apart of my life forever. I love and care about each and every one of them. I love to hear updates and see pictures of them throughout their life!! :) If you are local, I am always more than happy to groom the dog and watch him/her at no cost if you leave for a trip or vacation!
